Are you an experienced SQL Developer who is passionate about creating applications and interfaces that solve business challenges? Revolution Group is searching for a highly motivated, passionate SQL Developer who wants to be part of a fun, dynamic, growing team.

You will champion projects from their inception and collaborate with other developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to create new applications, interfaces, and features. You will be involved in all aspects of development including design, database schema, business logic,user interface. Also helping our clients implement new EDI Trading Partnerships, troubleshoot EDI issues and provide training an general support as required. Your work has a significant, positive impact for our clients.


Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and internal project team members to gather, clarify and define application requirements.
  • Architect solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate data conversion activities with internal and customer resources.
  • Develop custom database objects, stored procedures, functions, and T-SQL
  • Manage and prioritize development activities across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate data conversion activities with internal and customer resources.
  • Coordinate implementation and testing of new customers and new document types with third party vendors
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that pertain to EDI documents and communications for our clients in a timely manner
  • Conduct online training sessions with customers and suppliers
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Strong T-SQL development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience
  • Database design/data modeling experience
  • Advanced SQL skills and the ability to write and debug complex queries, stored procedures, functions, Relational Database Design, Development and Debugging
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Experience in database optimization techniques
  • 3+ years professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience working as an EDI analyst working with X12, EDIFACT and XML documents
  • 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the Unites States without visa sponsorship.
  • Experience in the automotive industry and food & beverage industry a strong plus
  • Experience working in supply chain, particularly in manufacturing, a strong plus
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of serving customers and helping other people
  • Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client-oriented team
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings
  • Located in central Ohio or willing to relocate
  • Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness
  • Positive attitude

Educational Requirements

Computer or Engineering related degree or equivalent work experience
